IA has completed an exciting and stimulating fitout for the client in the centre of Canberra as part of a major relocation of existing premises to covering 4 floors and approximately 3,400m2 of office space.

The brief required IA to create and environment reflecting a refreshed workplace culture with a design aesthetic of a 'modernist, up beat environment with an urban industrial look'.

Planning principles implemented by the team provide equity and drama, allow random communication and contrast to the norm, clear circulation and transparency of function, opportunities for open and accessible spaces and connectivity between floors.

The outcome has provided the client and its staff with a three dimensional experience beginning on each floor with colour and texture, spaces to connect with others and a fun workplace to interact and be productive.
